Research

I am addressing the growing challenge of fast computation and communication by deliberately blurring the boundary between the two. In my PhD, I have focused on designing highly unconventional microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuits. I invented the world’s first integrated microwave neural network, capable of processing both high-speed wireless and digital signals, and developed techniques to shrink large waveguides into compact 3D reflectors for beamforming. Looking ahead, I plan to continue pushing the frontier of on-chip, ultrafast analog computation to enable real-time inference and overcome the limitations of conventional digital computing.
